Tim harbours a dream of producing his own wine from his South Auckland rural property and finds this lifestyle the perfect compliment to the pressures of today’s business world. He also believes it is a fantastic environment for his wife and two young girls to be a part of a fiercely strong community despite its isolation.

He has a passion for all sports and has represented his country at University level in soccer. If time permitted, he would dearly love to get his golf handicap down to a number worth mentioning.

Tim joined Mahony in 2003 after over 10 years with Willis Limited where he was a client advocate for major corporate entities.

His experience includes:
•15 years broking for major corporate entities such as Tourism Holdings Limited, TrustPower Limited, Zespri Group Limited, Tatua Co-Operative Dairy Company Limited, Seeka Kiwifruit Industries Limited, and Mighty River Power Limited.
•Specialises in the agribusiness, food, technology and energy sectors.
•Global insurance and reinsurance placements on behalf of New Zealand based clients.
•CIBNZ Young Broker of the Year 1999.
• Captive design and formation.

Qualifications: Batchelor of Commerce, University of Canterbury, Associate of the Corporation of Insurance Brokers of New Zealand, Qualified Practicing Insurance Broker
